Meet the Speaker - Peter Bilzerian is going to speak at Digitec's 20th Anniversary conference in Yerevan, Armenia

I’m excited to finally share that I’ll be a speaker at DigiTec 2025, Armenia’s largest technology conference, taking place this October 10–12 in Yerevan.

This year marks DigiTec’s 20th anniversary of this event, and it’s bringing together top-notch Armenians from every stretch of the globe to talk about the future of innovation.

I’ll be joining the “Scaling Starts Here: The Role of Angels in Early-Stage Growth” panel on October 12th, alongside other global investors and ecosystem leaders, to talk about how angels can help startups grow from idea to international scale. I've got some insights from my recent flagship investment into MPP Insights in Armenia on how to take companies to the moon.

Here's a few sneak peaks of what I'll discuss: (1) Chase Partners, Not Checks - The best investors want to partner with you and parlay their capital. Money can come from anywhere, but it's the people who provide their expertise and network who actually increase your company's chance of success.

(2) Armenian Advantages - The best competitive advantage that has fueled start-ups worldwide is the fact that every Armenian is connected in the second degree to each other. This is the immortality project of Armenians - and this is what makes companies grow.

(3) Profitable Patriotism - Backing Armenian founders isn’t charity. It’s a competitive investment strategy where culture, resilience, and community turn into long-term business value. I coined 'Profitable Patriotism' to reflect that it's GREAT to make money! We should be making money from Day 1 with the companies - because it supports the economy in Armenia directly 10x more than any charity.
